This is a "U" shaped bag with a flap. The edging of the flap and gusset appear to have had a dark pigment rubbed on them, which is rubbing off in some places. A loop of braided leather at the bottom of the gusset loops around a leather gusset at the bottom of the front. A button is attached to another button on the flap with a strip of braided leather. The shoulder strap is two straps of leather braided around string with a leather button at each end. Leather loops on the bag fasten to the buttons at the end of the strap. The loops are attached to the bag with a segment of dark and natural colored braided leather.
