Description

The black metal hook is pointed at one end with one barb at the back. The stem is seated between two pieces of bone, secured with rivets and wrapped with string and resin. The pointed ends of the bone are exposed behind the string wrapping, acting as two more barbs. The short length of line is wrapped with string. There is a small loop at the free end.
