Description

The cylindrical container (2007.4998.a) has a lid (2007.4998.b). The container is open at one end and the other end is carved into a stylized face, probably a polar bear. The red mouth is slightly open and there are three holes inside. The small nostrils and eyes are black and there are two small triangles for ears.

The lid is a flat disc with a deep space around the perimeter on the inside so the plug will fit into the container. The plug has a thin layer of cork around it.
