The long rectangular, beaded ornament has a long fringe of dark horse hair. The beaded panel is lane stitched with a white field with three red inverted "V" shapes and small green rectangles with metal beads in the center. There is a buckskin loop at the top and tin cones down either side and the bottom of the beaded panel with red feathers. The back of the ornament is red, black, and yellow plaid.

It is possibly called a "bull's tail," and is intended to be worn on the back of a man's roach headdress.
