Description

The "U" shaped buckskin pouch has two "U" shaped flaps that extend upward from the pouch. It is edged in dark blue wool and decorative stitching in yellow thread. It is lined with cotton fabric.

The beaded decoration on side one consists of a maltese cross-like design in dark blue and red on the vertical arms and light blue and red on the horizontal arms and a dark blue center. There is a dark green rounded cross-like outline on the flap.
The beaded decoration on side two consists of a four-petaled flower, two dark blue and two light blue, with a dark blue center. It has a red vine-like stem at the bottom with four small leaves in dark and light blue. There are two leaf-like outlines on the top flap, one in red and one in dark blue.
