The pair of ear ornaments are each made from a side of a small coconut. The string is decorated with light colored quills and red and white beads to drape the ornaments over the tops of the ears. The convex side of each ornament is decorated with geometric forms and outlined in white and red beads with small teeth. Each ornament has beaded fringe on the bottom edge in red and white beads. The fringes are accented with larger red seeds and iridescent blue-green beetles.

2007.6534.a currently has two beaded fringes and one beetle.

2007.6534.b currently has a "U" shaped beaded loop and one fringe in the middle and three beetles.
