This brass pedestal is part of a tabak (eating table). It is a round pedestal that is wider at the bottom and tapers to the top 1/3. The bands of decoration were created by a series of cutouts consisting of two bands of vertical ovals and the bottom band has four petaled flowers separated by a curved "X." There is a band of dots under the flowers. This is intended to support the tray (2007.3591.a).
