The elaborately embossed goblet shaped vessel with a lid is tethered by a chain attached at a wire around the stem. The curlicue-based design, which resembles leaves in some places and hearts in others, radiates from the center of the lid, vessel and foot. The short stem is octagonal, decorated with stepped horizontal bands. The vessel has a short lip to sit inside the lid. The lid has a small knob in the center. A chain is attached to a wire at the bottom of the knob (it is not currently around the knob) and a wire around the stem.
