This knife (2007.0387.a) has a handle made from alternating rings of metal and horn. The end of the handle has a wide, shallow cone with a notched edge and incised lines dividing it into quadrants. The element at the end of the blade has a band of incised diamonds. The blade is iron.

The sheath (2007.0387.b) is made of leather, stitched together on the back with wire. A slit was cut to make a belt loop. The front has a raised ridge travelling lengthwise with mirror image incised decoration on either side: semicircles filled with crosshatching, rectangles filled with cross-hatching and a triangle of diagonal lines at the tip.
