The small round shield is made of thick leather. It has a prominent boss in the center and a raised rim at the edge. The front is decorated with concentric rings, with short parallel lines traversing two spaces in a sporadic pattern. There is a band of chevrons next to the outer rim. There is a C-shaped leather handle on the reverse side with a leather strap looped through it.
