The short vest is made of red leather and is lined with red, white, and blue plaid cotton cloth. It is edged with textural black binding with a second row down the front near the buttons. Small round mirrors are placed at frequent, regular intervals, held in place with circles of leather in red, yellow, green, white, and orange. Small raised red leather circles fill most of the rest of the area and rows of yellow leather strips are woven through the red near the buttons and along the bottom and on the back. There are three red knob-like leather buttons with yellow and red yarn tufts. There are braided leather loops for closure. The teardrop shaped red leather tab on either side of the buttons is suspended by a thin leather strip with raised red leather circles. There is a small round mirror in each tab. The diamond shaped tab on the back has four mirrors arranged in a flower-like pattern suspended from braided leather. The orange leather tassels hang from the bottom of the braided leather strips.
