The rectangular coiled basket has rounded, flaring sides. The basket has been darkened with use, but an imbricated design appears to have been vertical rows of alternating blocks of black and white. There is one loop of twisted plant fiber near the corner on one long side and a cord loop near the other corner on the same side.
