Description

The bulbous gourd bottle (2007.5398.a), is wider at the bottom and tapers to the opening. The wooden stopper (2007.5398.b) is flat on top, but tapers to fit into the opening. Plant fiber is wrapped around the stopper as a gasket. Both pieces are a grey-brown color.

It was used to store and carry seeds.
