The short necklace is probably a choker style. The short tufted fringe of dark brown hair is bound in place with plant fiber string. It has twisted plant fiber strings at either end to tie.

This is made from women's hair and it is intended to be worn under the chin on the neck. It was worn by men, possibly when they were preparing to fight.
