The round basket has nearly straight sides (a slight bulge 2/3 up the sides may be intentional or due to the flexible nature of the weave). There is a band of light colored triangles near the bottom. The decorative band around the middle has an "L" shape in light natural colored fibers, with a backward "P" nestled into the space of the "L." The middle of the design is red on every other repeat. The field is dark brown. The style of weaving changes above this decorative band.
