The knife has a metal blade and a curved handle. The light brown wooden handle is cylindrical on one side of the bend, and flattened on the other side, giving the appearance of more bend. The metal blade is mostly straight, but is angled at the end. It is held in place with plant fiber string wrapping around the round portion of the wooden handle.
