Description
Inscriptions/Signature

The human figure is jointed with strips of vellum, with a rod on each hand for manipulation and running the length of the body. The figure, possibly representing the demon Tjakil, is painted the same on the front and back. The figure appears to be wearing a red Balinese mask. The gold body is naked except for a wrap on the upper arms and a sarong-like wrap around the waist, painted in stripes. There is an elaborate decoration at the waist that extends up the chest to the back of the head.
