Photograph of a Hunkpapa man, identified as Rain in the Face. He wears a checkered jacket with a kerchief around his neck. His dark hair is wrapped on either shoulder but is not braided. There is a single eagle feather at the top of his head.

The photo is mounted to a card that is light tan on the front and light greenish yellow on the back, printed with a floral pattern and with a decorative border.
