Photograph of a man identified as Louie, Sitting Bull's son who is facing 3/4 to his proper right side and is wearing an eagle feather headdress with a full trailer. He wears a light colored cotton shirt, dark trousers and buckskin moccasins. In his proper right hand he holds a revolver and in his proper left hand he holds a printed handkerchief. On the facing right side is a chair draped in cloth and on the facing left side is a table or other piece of furniture also draped in cloth.

The photo is mounted to a card that is light bluish yellow on the front and light blue on the back with a floral background print.
