The dark brown feather has a sawtooth edge. The proximal end of the feather is light colored. There are two strips of buckskin attached at the quill with sinew wrapping. The buckskin is twisted and acts as a tether for a tassel of feathers which is also attached to buckskin strips with sinew wrapping. The tassel is only feather quills now.
