The buckskin moccasins have leather soles and cotton lining. They are edged in dark blue silk. Each shoe is decorated in the same floral pattern in red and green quills. The front has a stem with three tulip-like flowers and three pairs of leaves flanked by stems heading medially and laterally. Each stem has a single tulip-like flower and four pairs of leaves. The sides of each shoe have a two-scallop design in red with green leaves on the concave sides and a single dark blue teardrop shape at the point.
