The woven basket is made of plant fibers and has a lid attached by a twisted string which is attached at two loops on the body and threaded though two loops on the lid. There is a band of dark green fiber on both pieces near the rim. The body is attached to a base of thin strips of bamboo which have been stacked and tiered.

This was used to store cassava (manioc) flour.
