The bottleneck gourd isset into a base of bark and secured with plant fiber (both stitched and twisted). The narrow end of the gourd is open, and a hole has been made in the round part, into which a metal funnel/bowl has been set with woven plant fiber. The neck is decorated with metal (possibly brass) tacks. The neck also has three small holes on its shaft, two have a plant fiber handle strung through and another with the tacks.
