Description

The horn shaped container is made of a continuously wrapped narrow strip of bark and is covered in leather which is stretched taut and sewn closed along the concave side of the horn shape. Both ends are left open. Cowrie shells decorate the seam and the larger end of the horn shape. There is a band of woven string around the larger end of the vessel which is continuous as a loop handle.
