Description

The reddish-brown globular gourd has two bands of incised decoration near the rim. The top band is thinner, with diamonds of undecorated surface with the negative space filled with crosshatching. The second band is thicker, in a similar pattern though it is not regular. One of the "undecorated" diamonds is decorated with a face. Large areas of black mottled surface obscures some the design.
