Description

This knife has a hooked iron blade. The triangular blade, hooked to one side, has smaller points at the uneven base of the triangle and a stem that inserts into the wooden handle. There is one hole near the concave cutting edge. The handle is a very dark wood. It is mostly circular in cross section, with a large cylindrical pommel and a narrower cylindrical grip. 1/3 of the grip length is flattened to an ovoid shape where the iron blade inserts. This portion is wrapped with a long thin brass strip.
