Description

The "U" shaped buckskin ornament looks like a pouch with a flap on each side, but it does not have an opening. There is fringe along the outside edge. There is an inverted "U" shaped panel above the "pouch" with slits for most of its length and a scalloped edge along the top.

The beaded decoration on side one consists of a light pink and red flower with a blue center, two small light pink flowers and four green leaves. The flap above has the same center flower, but smaller, with four green and white leaves, and dark blue lines at the ends. The flap is lined with yellow cotton and has a snap closure.

The beaded decoration on side two consists of the same decoration as side one, but the light pink beading is done with dark pink. The stitch indicates there may have been a snap.
