The small rug is woven with a cotton warp and wool weft. The field is red and is heavily decorated with interconnected stepped diamond designs throughout most of the rug, in very bright colors of yellow, pink, light blue, gray, orange, natural off-white, and small amounts of black. At the top and bottom of the rug is a border of key designs in red and gray. At the bottom edge and up part of the sides is a short fringe in red and off-white.
