The body of the tall, narrow drum is narrow, but flares slightly at either end, the wider end covered with animal skin, the other left open. The head has a ring around it, which has been wrapped with plant fiber. Most of the body of the drum is undecorated. The body near the open end is decorated with vertical red stripes that alternate with black stripes and white dots. There is a ridge at the top of the decorated segment.

There are five drops of resin on the head and another large drop on the ridge at the painted end.
