The two narrow strips of cotton are each strung with beads and tied together with a piece of bone carved to look like an elk's tooth. On each strip, there is a small amount of cotton visible, then six dark blue round beads, a long tubular bone bead, six more dark blue beads, another tubular bone bead, six more dark blue beads, and each strand ends with another elk's tooth. Each strand has a short strip of green cotton in the middle batch of blue beads, that may be ties.
