Inscriptions/Signature

The pair of buckskin moccasins has rawhide soles. There is a band of white beading around the bottom that has alternating red and green triangles. The top front portion of the shoe is decorated in a bead and buckskin checkerboard. The coloration of the beads are in chevrons on the checkerboard in white, translucent yellow with green outlines, light blue and green with translucent pink outlines. 2007.3856.a has red pigment on the back of the shoe.
