The short, flat piece of bamboo has two cassowary quills held to one end with plant fiber wrapping. Each quill has a cluster of large red seeds at the end and then a long white feather trimmed to the quill on one side. One feather is held in place with a large lump of black resin, the other feather is currently separated.
