The round fan has a straight handle. The center of the blade is tortoise shell, with a wide band of woven plant fiber in light natural, light blue, grey and dark blue. There is another woven band in a different plant fiber dyed green, purple and light natural. The blade is edged with feathers, mostly white, but with green, red and purple at regular intervals.

The handle is square in cross-section, though it tapers to a point at the center of the tortoise shell circle. It is woven in light natural and dark green.
