The man is seated astride a horse. The man is wearing a hat of horizontal bands and there is a series of spike-like projections transversely over his head. He is holding the reins in his left hand and a sword in his right hand, flat side to the horse's neck. His shirt is made up of vertical stripes and his shorts are a diamond patterned. He is wearing neckrings, bracelets and anklets.
The horse is bareback with all the feet on the ground. His halter crosses his nose and there appears to be something indicated by the striped textures over the top of his head and down the back of his neck.
