The spear thrower has a wide, flat wooden body. The rounded end has a small hook held in place with sinew. The narrower handle end has a large ball of black resin at the end that holds a stone blade. The slightly concave surface of the spear thrower is decorated with white zigzagging lines and a human figure in the center.
