Description

The three-rod coiled basket is in the shape of a wide, shallow bowl. The field is light brown sumac fibers and the pattern is woven with dark brown martynia fibers. In the center is a five-pointed star and light brown outline on a dark brown field. The outside of that is a band of alternating blocks of light and dark brown squares. Above that are four triangular panels with a light brown field. In the center is a light brown human figure inside of a dark brown building with a pointed roof. On either side of the building are four-legged animals facing toward the building. Between those panels are four dark brown triangles that have either a swastika pattern or a four-legged animal in light brown. The outermost coil is dark brown.
