Description

Page with Latin text along the top and bottom edges. Round format, bust length portrait of Constantine in the center of the page. The Christian emperor appears with a book in one hand and an orb with a cross in the other. The man has longish hair and rounded, brimmed hat with a cross on the top. An inscription frames the man's face and identifies him as Constantine, Our Lord and Father of his country. The two toned chiaroscuro woodcut is colored two shades of brown.
