Description

Page with Latin text along the top and bottom edges. Round format, profile portrait of Tiberius facing left in the center of the page. He has short wavy hair and a distinctive profile with prominent chin and nose. The Roman emperor appears bust length with a laurel wreath on his head. An inscription frames the man's face and identifies him as Commander Tiberius, son of the deified Augustus. The two toned chiaroscuro woodcut is colored two shades of brown.
