Several figures in a classical scene. Very low bronze relief in a wood frame. 2 main figures (man in crown with staff and woman on throne) sit on a double throne while a young man (Orpheus) plays a lyre for them. Included in this scene are several young maidens and an old man holding the reins of the three-headed dog Ceberus. Behind the young man (Orpheus) the ferry waits for him on the river styx.
