The soldier at center left is looking right with his head tilted down, covering his face. The soldier in the center is in profile facing right. He has his left hand raised, palm to the viewer. His right hand is also raised and against his chest. Both hands have the fingers extended. There is a wine glass with wine and a wine bottle in front of him. All three soldiers have gray coats and helmets. There is a woman at center right. She has both her elbows on the table, her left hand in the air. She is looking slightly left. She has her hair pulled up on her head and wears a spotted shirt. There is a candle to the left of her on the table and a wineglass in front of her. There is a gray wall behind them with a poster on the left side.
