Married woman’s formal kimono for late spring or summer. Very deep hem design front and back and sleeves, crowded with miscellaneous images of fans, iris, peonies, other flowers and flowering trees, some enhanced with embroidery. Family crest (mon) is skillfully concealed as a flower among other flowers. Colors and gold on black ground. Lightly padded hem.
