Exhibitions

A folded book (orihon) of Buddhist scripture, the Hannya shingyo (Heart Sutra). The front and back covers are made of grayish blue paper, painted with lotus flower design in black. A label on the front color identifies the scripture as Hannya shingyo. The book contains 14 pages: the first 3 is a preface; page 4-13 are the main text of the Heart Sutra. The preface and main text are printed in regular script.
