Round wooden-frame fan with design of yellow and white flowers and kelly green leaves on a white background. This foliage pattern emerges from the bottom of the fan and reaches 3/4 of the way up, leaving transparent white paper and wooden frames tines exposed at the top of the fan. Three blooming flowers have white centers, inside of which are small, purple, teardrop-shaped pistils. A gauzy layer of white fibrous paper covers the surface of the fan in uneven patches. Handle is pale paulownia wood, rounded at the wide top and narrow bottom. Paper is washi, a type of Japanese paper.
