Printed in black ink. Thick, square irregular border surrounding image. Three-quarters pose, bust portrait of unidentified elderly woman. Her head is covered with a small, light-toned cap and a portion of her hair above the forehead is revealed beneath the cap. A light collar is represented above a dark garment on the left side of the figure. The caption beneath image reads, “TÊTE DE VIELLE” (first line) and “Gravée par FÉLIX VALLOTTON.”
