Printed in black ink. A bearded and mustachioed man is depicted seated at a table on the far right, one-third of the page below the border of the image. Seated next to him at a table, which occupies the lower half of the image, is an elderly man. Just above the latter’s head is the lower portion of a clock. The table is covered with a checkered cloth and set with a pitcher and plates. A slice of apple also rests on the table on the far left, the front edge of the table. In the foreground is depicted a cat, composed of solid white and outlined in black. In the lower right corner beneath the border is printed the page number “317.” On the left side of the page, just beneath the lower left corner of the image is another printed number, “21.”
