Description
Inscriptions/Signature

Twelve block prints arranged in three columns. Simply rendered figure of a woman (identified as the Virgin Mary) is in the upper central portion of the print surrounded on either side by the Ave Maria prayer in Latin. The figure has a bald head and a halo with hands pressed together and a dot in the center of the forehead. Beneath her are small representations of the seven acts of mercy that are described in French with Flemish translations. Black text and images on a light brown background. There are square images in the bottom two thirds of the image. On the left side there is an image of figures around a table with a tree. Below that is a building on an island. In the bottom left corner are two figures with teardrops. In the center is a fountain with two angels. Below is a house. On the right is a winged figure. Below it is two winged figures in an interior. In the bottom right is a floating flowering plant.
