Landscape, river scene. Water spills over a man-made dam. The shorelines are filled with numerous buildings. On the left bank of the river are what appear to be farm or livestock buildings, and on the right bank the city of Easton, which is represented by a variety of buildings, their form and structure somewhat simplified. In the background, approximately in the center of the image, is a railroad trellis and bridge, both of which cross over the river; lush green hills lie along the horizon.
