A seated woman wears a kimono and yellow slippers. Her face in profile turns toward left. Floral patterns of cherry flowers on her outer garment are raised. Hair decorations, "obi," the edge of cushion of the chair, the wooden legs of the chair, her slippers and her socks are all raised. Background is milky gray. Lower foreground is darker gray. Painting is mounted in a wooden frame.
