Description

Painted hanging scroll depicting summer and winter landscapes. The summer landscape is composed of a tall waterfall in the center and a sharp cliff with two tall pines and a temple at the top of the cliff to the left of the waterfall. To the right of the waterfall is a sharp cliff with tall pines and leafy trees. The background sky is left blank. There is an inscription of a poem of four lines indicating scenes in an early summer. There are two seals below the artist's signature.
