Village scene made up of the inlay of several different veneers (intarsia). In the upper left quadrant is the foliage of several trees. A castle on the hillside overlooks the village center. A low mountain is visible to the left of the castle. A road runs into the village from the lower right corner toward the left to the lower middle part of the image. A man with a bundle of sticks strapped to his back is walking along the road to the village. Three large ducks/geese can be seen nearby on the road to the right of the man. Building are in the middle ground.
